COLOUR WITH US: LITTLE LEGS FOUNDATION

11 May 2020

It is with much love that I partner with a cause close to my heart, the Little Legs Foundation, to help them continue to raise much needed awareness on brain cancer during the month of May.

Little Legs Foundation was created by the parents of beautiful Alegra, who tragically succumbed to the disease at the tender age of just six. Her parents have been an inspiration, tirelessly raising funds for research into brain cancer, which is a leading cause of death in children.

THE COMPETITION

Alegra enjoyed hours and hours of drawing and colouring. I am honoured to have some of my work alongside that of Alegra’s (drawn at 4 and 5 years old) for this month’s colouring competition and will be judging entries!

For more artworks to choose from to colour in, head to the LLF events page (click here).

There are 4 age group categories:

1. Up to 5yrs

2. 6-8yrs

3. 9-12yrs

4. 13yrs+

A winner from each group will be announced on May 31st by Little Legs Foundation and myself.

Please make sure you include your name and age on your finished piece.

The winners will receive a $100 credit to spend with Little Legs Foundation online store (you can check out the store here).

Don’t forget to tag @littlelegsfoundation and use these hashtags #ALEGRASARMY #llfgoesgrey20 (for those with private accounts, feel free to email Little Legs or send them a DM)

Good luck and happy colouring!

3 May 2020 - Le Shopping

As I enter into week 8 of quarantine, I’m wondering if like me, you’re fantasizing about all the things you will do once restrictions are relaxed. Personally, I’m looking forward to something simple like actually sitting down in my favourite cafe. I’m also betting that there’ll be any excuse to dress up after months of living in activewear! Enjoy my latest instalment and as always, keep your artwork coming! xx

11 April 2020 - Easter Egghunt

Easter this year will be a little different: the family gathering will be a little more virtual, the pace a little slower, but there will always be chocolate and the backyard egghunt to delight the kids (and big kids) alike. This week’s mindful colouring artwork was created originally for my friends at Kay & Burton, and I’m delighted to be able to share it with you. Please keep those artworks coming in, I love to see what you create and how beautifully you apply colour! N x

5 April 2020 - Physically Distant, Socially Connected.

I hope that this little message finds you all well; and that despite being physically apart, you are staying socially connected with your loved ones. As I enter my fourth week of isolation, I can safely say that one can never underestimate the benefits of an online playdate with a friend (for kids and adults alike!). This week I pay tribute to friends in an imagined idyllic village in Spain or Italy, where some of the most sobering news of the pandemic have emerged over the past month. Please stay safe in your homes, and look out for one another. N x

29 March 2020 - Booklovers Unite!

Hello everyone! I don’t know about you, but I’ve long lost count of how many days I’ve been in self-quarantine for. I find however that they days are not as long as I had anticipated, with a little imagination and some company from my favourite books. I hope you’re all doing well and keeping sane, and I hope you enjoy colouring in my second “quarantine” artwork. N x

22 March 2020 - Melbourne Reflections

We are entering into uncharted territory, along with the rest of the world. In these stressful times, it is important to take a moment to breathe, to reflect and for each one of us to play our part in minimizing the spread in order to protect the most vulnerable in our community.

I will be uploading one of my artworks every week for you to download and keep, in the hope that you can find some mindful solace in colouring them in and bringing them to life. Use pencils, markers, watercolours (if your paper can hold it) and enjoy! I would love to see your work so please feel free to email me a copy at contact@natalierompotis.com. We are all in this together X
